Crafted from double-butted Grade 9 titanium tubing, the Etape is equally at home on long sportives, mountainous routes, winter training miles and everyday rides. The result is a bike that feels fast when you want it to, comfortable when you need it to, and capable whatever the road, distance or season.

Choosing the correct frame size is essential for comfort, efficiency and confidence on the bike. Our stock geometry is available across a carefully developed range of sizes, with size-specific tubing used to optimise stiffness, comfort and weight for riders of different sizes.

The sizing chart below is designed as an approximate guide to help identify the most appropriate frame size based on rider height and saddle height. Rider proportions, flexibility and preferred riding position can all influence the correct size, so if you're unsure, we always recommend speaking to us before ordering.

With over 20 years of bike fitting experience and an extensive database of fit data, we can help you determine the most appropriate frame size, setup and riding position.

Where possible, we recommend visiting our Sussex showroom, where you can book a test ride and experience an Enigma before making your decision. For more detailed sizing and positional advice, a professional bike fit can also be arranged with no obligation to purchase.

If visiting us isn't convenient, our network of authorised Enigma dealers can provide in-person advice and help you find the right bike and size.

Already have professional bike fit data? Send it to us and we can use your existing measurements to help determine the most appropriate frame size and setup.

For more information on our fitting process, custom geometry and how we use your measurements to determine the right setup, visit our Fitting & Frame Design page.

Our 'Ready to Ride' models are built around carefully developed stock geometry, so custom frame sizing and geometry are not available. However, there are still plenty of ways to make your Enigma uniquely yours. Choose from our range of finish upgrades, including alternative logo treatments and bespoke paint options, and personalise your bike further with your choice of components and finishing kit.

If you have something specific in mind, please get in touch. We’ll be happy to discuss the available options and provide a personalised quote.

Reviews

David Arthur - Just Ride Bikes

"I’ve been riding this Enigma Etape through the winter to showcase the benefits of having a dedicated winter bike that is designed and set up to cope with all the demands that this time of year puts on bikes and cycling. This is my final review on the bike and I’ve listed six reasons this bike really shines and why I think you need a bike like this in your collection".

Nick Mackie

“The Etape is now the only bike I ride. The geometry suits my riding perfectly and it’s the most comfortable and planted bike I’ve ever ridden. I don’t know how you guys will ever improve it!” Nick, Enigma Etape owner

Phil Wrigley

“I was asked by my friend who owns a bike shop to test ride a finished bike for a customer before he collected it, he had requested it be ridden before collection. It was an Enigma Etape. I was so impressed with it I told my friend that I would have on as soon as I could justify it. In late 2019 I managed to justify it! And became the proud owner of a new Etape, with 12 speed Record groupset and Hope hubs and brakes. I rode 84 hilly miles on it on my first trip out, and absolutely loved it. I have ridden a good few thousand miles on it since in complete comfort, riding from Lancashire over to North Yorkshire, West Yorkshire and Cumbria most weekends. I have a very expensive carbon fibre top of the range Italian bike from one of the bike world’s most prestigious manufacturers, which cost me a few thousand pounds more than the Etape, but if I had to sell one, I would keep the Etape”.
